Freed on Freedom

By November 25, 2017

Can you feel the shifting sands deep within the interiority of your beingness as a woman? Today we stand as a world-wide community to end violence against women.

I am not who I was

I no longer cover my mouth when I speak

I am not who I was

I no longer apologize for my desires

I am not who I was

I no longer defer my opinion

I am not who I was

I no longer suppress the fountain that is my heart

I am not who I was

I no longer pretend that I am not a raving beauty

I am not who I was

I no longer ask permission to shine like a start

I am not who I was

I no longer make excuses for my intensity

I am not who I was

I no longer justify my insistence on authenticity

I am not who I was

I no longer will act like a lack of curiosity is benign

I am not who I was

I no longer give emotional stinginess a pass

I am not who I was

I no longer silence my pain and outrage

I am not who I was

I no longer dismiss any words or acts of harm

I am you see glorious unstoppable me

I am a river of burning lust for life itself

I will not be chastened halted or denied

Nothing can kill me

Thousands of years have tried

But time has only forged my fires

Watch out

I am here

I am here

I am
