What is spiritual intelligence?
Cindy Wigglesworth, in her book SQ21, says spiritual intelligence is “the ability to behave with wisdom and compassion, while maintaining inner and outer peace, regardless of the situation.” She believes there are 21 identifiable skills that are the indicators of competence that include: awareness of oneself; universal awareness of time, spiritual laws and transcendent oneness; self mastery, and maintaining a spiritual presence as a leader and agent for change in the world. Spiritual intelligence isn’t born from silent contemplation. Rather, it lives in active engagement of our vulnerability, transparency, and risk taking in the face of adversity and uncertainty.
