A lot of women suffer from “hurry sickness,” the result of a nanosecond pop culture that moves at the speed of the internet fueled by caffeine and too much to do. A general sense of dis-ease takes over, and a gal can feel chronically unsettled. I often tell clients to break the cycle of struggling against the clock by moving at the speed of nature. Photographer Beth Moon has captured the timeless ease of nature’s old wise ones, the trees. Trees contain superior genes that have enabled them to survive through the ages, resistant to disease (yes, dis-ease), and other uncertainties. If you can’t get outside, then do the next best thing and take a walk through these powerfully healing images.
